I recently started having an issue where the App Store showed the “No Internet Connection” error message, even though my iPhone 18 Pro was connected to the Internet. The error message further said that my iPhone had no Internet connection and I should turn off Airplane Mode or connect to a Wi-Fi network. This issue prevented me from using the App Store, meaning I could not download, update apps, or make in-app purchases.

There could be several issues causing this problem. For example, the App Store may not be allowed to use cellular data. In this article, I list steps you can follow to fix this issue on your iPhone 18 Pro. Follow the steps in order until the problem is resolved.

  1. If this issue occurs only when you are using a cellular network, ensure that the App Store is permitted to use cellular data. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular, then scroll down and find the Cellular Data section. Find the App Store option from the list of apps and ensure that it is enabled. The App Store also has its own Cellular Data switch: go to Settings > Apps > App Store and turn on Cellular Data. Apple notes that you can adjust other cellular data settings from that screen too, such as automatic downloads.
  2. Check your VPN and third-party security software on your device. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > VPN and turn off the VPN, and try again.
  3. Try a different network. If you can, try to connect using a different network. If you’re able to connect using a different network, contact your network administrator or internet service provider to report the issue.
  4. If none of the above helps, check whether restrictions are in the way. Apple documents that Content & Privacy Restrictions can limit installing apps and in-app purchases. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, then look at iTunes & App Store Purchases.

Hopefully, one of these steps has helped resolve the issue.
