With so many apps available for iPhone on the App Store, it doesn’t take long before you download so many that managing them can start to get a bit tiresome and unwieldy. Having multiple pages of apps extending off the initial Home Screen can be a burden, especially if you like to organize what you can see on the screen into any sort of meaningful order. Thankfully, there are a few ways you can change the look and layout of your iPhone Home Screen. One of the ways is by using folders. Folders can help you organize your apps and also let you put more apps on a single Home Screen page, making it that much easier to access with fewer swipes.
Luckily, creating Home Screen app folders on an iPhone is easy. In this article, we’ll tell you how, plus we’ll show you an easier way to organize your iPhone Home Screen to give it a tidier look and feel.

A folder is a handy way to group apps on your iPhone. To create one, follow the steps below:

You can drag additional apps into the folder while in jiggle mode. Simply tap outside of the folder window to go back to the Home Screen.

-
Tap Done in the upper-right corner of the screen to finish.

Clean Up Your iPhone Home Screen with App Library
The last page of your Home screen contains your App Library. The App Library stores all of your apps in automatically sorted folders. You can also move pages or hide unwanted pages to streamline your Home screen.
This means that you can have apps installed on your iPhone without their icons taking up space on the Home screen.
Each App Library folder shows four icons. All four icons in the Suggestions folder are apps. In the other folders, three are apps and tapping the fourth (which features a grid of smaller icon thumbnails) reveals the contents of that folder.
Here are some other things you can do with App Library:
-
Add App Library apps to the Home screen: Enter jiggle mode and drag an app out of the App Library onto a Home screen page.
-
View App Library apps in alphabetical order: Swipe down on the App Library screen to see all apps in alphabetical order.
-
Search for apps in App Library: Tap the search field at the top of the App Library, then enter the app that you’re looking for.
-
Delete an app from the App Library: Tap the search field to open the list. Touch and hold the app icon, then tap Delete App . Tap Delete again to confirm.
