iPhone 18 Pro Not Ringing, Fix

Is your iPhone 18 Pro not ringing when someone calls you? Thus, you are missing incoming calls? This article explains how you can troubleshoot when your iPhone 18 Pro does not ring when receiving calls. If you are experiencing this problem, it may cause you to miss important incoming calls.

Let’s first check some basic iPhone ring settings:

This may be due to incorrect or unintended settings. Here is what and how you can check:

1. Ensure that silent mode is not turned on. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and turn off Silent Mode.
2. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is off: in the Settings app, tap Focus, then tap Do Not Disturb and make sure it is off.
3. On your phone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics and increase the volume of the ringer. And make sure that the Change With Buttons option is set to off.
4. Are you having this problem with all calls or some calls? If your phone does not ring for all callers, It is possible that you may have blocked their phone numbers. If a number is blocked, you will not receive a call from this number. You can check that easily. Here is how:
   • On your iPhone, tap Settings > Privacy & Security > Blocked Contacts
   • Here you can see all blocked numbers. Review them.
5. Do you use Call Forwarding? Turn this off and try again. Here is how you can do that:
   • On your iPhone, tap Settings > Apps > Phone
   • Tap Call Forwarding
   • And set this off

iPhone 18 Pro Still Not Ringing

So you checked your settings and it is not a settings issue? Then try the tips below:

1. Turn on Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, and then turn it off.
2. Update your iPhone, if there is an update available. You can check that by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
3. Restart your iPhone. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
4. Update your carrier settings. Sometimes carriers (Verizon, ATT&T, T-Mobile etc) release updates regarding cellular connections. Check to see if there is an update. Here is how:
   • Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular.
   • On your phone, go to Settings > General > About
   • If there is an update, a popup will appear. Follow the instructions.
5. On your iPhone, turn off Screen Unknown Callers. Here is how:
   • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Apps > Phone
   • Find the section called “Screen Unknown Callers” choose Never.
6. Reset Network Settings. This action will reset network settings and this means that, for example, your Wi-Fi passwords etc will be deleted. Here is how:
   • On your phone, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual and turn on LED Flash for Alerts. LED Flash for Alerts works only when your device is locked.
