If you are having a problem connecting your iPhone 18 Pro to the App Store, you may see the ā€œcannot connectā€ error message.

One reason for getting this error message is that your iPhone 18 Pro has no connection to the Internet.

This article explains what you could do if your iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max cannot connect to the App Store. It is essential that you troubleshoot this problem because if you do not resolve this problem, you will not be able to access the App Store, and further you will not be able to download, install or update your apps.

How to fix Cannot connect to the App Store on iPhone 18 Pro

1- Find out if there’s an outage for a service in your country or region. Check Apple’s System Status page.

2- Let’s make sure that your iPhone is connected to the Internet. You can easily check this by opening the Safari app and trying to load a website, like geekschalk.com. If your iPhone does not have a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection, try the following tips:

  • Turn on Airplane Mode, wait at least 15 seconds and turn off Airplane Mode by going to Settings > Airplane Mode.
  • Restart your device. You can restart your device by going to Settings > General > Shut Down.
  • Restart your router and cable modem by unplugging the devices and then plugging them back in.
  • Reset your Network Settings by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note that this will erase your network settings such as your Wi-Fi passwords etc.

3- Please ensure that your iPhone has the latest version of the iOS software. You can check that by going to:

  • Settings
  • General
  • Software Update

4- Restart your device. As stated above, you can power off your device by going to Settings > General > Shut Down.

5- Try a different network. If you can, try to connect using a different network. If you’re able to connect using a different network, contact your network administrator or internet service provider to report the issue.

6- Make sure that your iPhone’s date and time settings are set correctly. Go to:

  • Settings
  • General
  • Date & Time and check to see if it is set for your timezone. You may also want to turn on Set Time Automatically.

7- If other devices on the same network can access the internet, check your VPN and third-party security software on your device, then try again.

8- Force restart your iPhone. Here is how:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).

9- If you’ve tried all of the above steps and you still can’t connect, try again later. A service outage might have recently started.
