How to fix WhatsApp crashing on iPhone 18 Pro
1. Restart
Restart your iPhone 18 Pro by pressing and holding the side button and the volume up button until the power-off slider appears. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Force restart
Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
3. Check for updates
Update your iPhone
Go to Settings > General > Software Update to look for updates. Install any available updates.
Check for app updates
Apps that you download from the App Store app are automatically updated by default, but in case you have turned off that feature, open the App Store and tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner. Tap App Updates. Scroll down and look for WhatsApp. If you see it, tap Update next to the app.
4. Check iPhone storage
Open Settings and tap on General. Tap on iPhone Storage. The available storage is shown at the top of the screen. If you are low on storage, delete apps you no longer use, or go to Settings > Apps > App Store and turn on Offload Unused Apps.

6. Reinstall WhatsApp
Back up chat history
Open WhatsApp and tap on You tab. Tap on Chats and then Chat Backup. Tap Back Up Now to make sure your chat history is safely backed up.
Delete WhatsApp
Press and hold on the WhatsApp icon until a menu appears. Tap on Remove App. Tap on Delete App. Tap Delete again to confirm.
Reinstall WhatsApp
Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for WhatsApp. Tap the Download button.
